drawing for a postcard that went nowhere

So here’s a little illustration I did for a postcard I was going to send out. The goal was to sell murals inside of pediatrician/dentist/orthodontist offices (any waiting area, really). I wanted to keep it universal enough so that any one of those would be able to see clearly.

The back copy would read something like:

“Yours doesn’t have to be!

Contact Sean Evans, your mural consultant, today!

817-729-6982″

The second objective for sending an illustration is that it’s a preview of capabilities/style. Though I wouldn’t say I’m limited to a Jamie Hewlett-esque style, it just seemed appropriate when I was making the illustration.

Mural Sketch

Sketch inspired by the Man from Snowy River

This is one of my fiance's favorite movies so I did a quick sketch of the main character in action!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows midnight showing

Was so much fun! Midnite showings are the best.

Needless to say, I really enjoyed the new movie; there were so many ups and downs, great pacing and cinematography, and of course, the nail biting cliff hanger. The next installment is sure to blow the lid off and bring everything together.

Here’s a quick sketch to show you some raw Potter determination. Whoa.

Morning Sketch

Here’s a sketch I started this morning- a relaxed sophisticate smoking a pipe. Hopefully will be colored by week’s end; I’m feeling a strong 50s shag style. I realized the other day that my blending colors is not very good. Must improve. Anyway, enjoy and crits welcomed. drawing of a relaxed guy
